    I am going to Bolivia and I am wondering if I can get the tourist visa by mailing my passport off to the Bolivian consulate here in the USA before I go?

    If so, what are the benefits of doing it by mail or is it just better to get the visa when I arrive in Bolivia?

    I'd rather not risk mailing my passport if I don't have to, and am wondering if there are any benefits of getting the tourist visa before I arrive in Bolivia. Thanks.
