    Blue Note Wine Bar In La Paz

    This bar made our trip to La Paz, Bolivia. Best place for a drink and a light meal. Live music most days, and excellent modern South American music all the time. Good selection of SA wines at cheap prices (and real dry martinis).

    It is off the beaten track, not a typical backpackers place, but an interesting mix of ex-pats, travellers and local. Open til late, a good place for travellers tips. In the tourist centre (Zona Rosa) on calle Linares, Plaza Gaston Velasco. try it, warm and friendly!

    We got tipped off by other travellers about this bar, and they were right! We had such a good time, that although we checked out other (rather lame backpackers bars) we kept returning to the Blue Note. Good music, great food, plenty of wine and interesting company. Thanks BN for everything!
