If you want to visit a great Spanish "wine and tapas" bar/restaurant, while in Tarija, just go to La Bodega del Abuelo in the valley of Concepcion, just 20 minutes away from the city of Tarija. You will be in a beautiful vineyard, that is open to the public. The restaurant serves the best seafoof paella in all of Bolivia, calamares en su tinta, gambas al ajillo, etc....

Concepcion is the "official" wine country of Bolivia.
